At Eatmate, we aim to deliver your favorite dry fruits, seeds, spices, and mouth fresheners in a timely and secure manner. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms related to order processing, delivery, and shipping responsibilities.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms mentioned below.
1. Serviceable Locations
Eatmate currently delivers orders within selected serviceable areas across India.
- Delivery availability depends on your location and courier partner coverage.
- If your location is not serviceable, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund (if payment was made).
2. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation.
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next working day.
Processing time does not include delivery transit time.
3. Delivery Timelines
- Estimated delivery timelines are displayed at checkout.
- Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days, depending on the destination.
- Remote or rural locations may require additional time.
Delivery timelines are approximate and may vary due to:
- Courier delays
- High order volume
- Weather conditions
- Traffic disruptions
- Government restrictions or unforeseen events
Eatmate is not liable for delays caused by such external factors.
4. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges (if applicable) will be clearly displayed at checkout before order confirmation.
- We may offer free shipping on selected orders, locations, or during promotional periods.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was from our end.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure:
- Accurate delivery address
- Correct contact number
- Availability to receive the order
Eatmate is not responsible for:
- Delivery failure due to incorrect address
- Unreachable contact number
- Customer unavailability
In such cases, the order may be marked as failed delivery and refund may not be applicable.
6. Order Modification & Redirection
- Once the order is dispatched, it cannot be modified or redirected to a different address.
- Address changes must be requested before dispatch and are subject to approval.
7. Failed Delivery & RTO (Return to Origin)
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address
- Refusal to accept delivery
- Customer unavailability
The order may be returned to origin (RTO).
In such cases:
- Shipping charges will not be refunded.
- Refund eligibility (if any) will be evaluated after deducting logistics charges.
8. Damaged or Tampered Packages
If you receive a damaged or tampered package:
- Do not accept the delivery (if visibly damaged), OR
- Record an unboxing video
- Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery
Claims without proper proof may not be accepted.
